6.04.2007

Training has been up and down over the last couple of weeks. We had the PVU meet on May 16th. Daniel Ryland and Paul Litchfield came over and jumped well. Daniel even took attempts at 19 feet to put the backyard record out of reach. Thanks guys for coming out. It was a good time.

We left just after that for Vaultstock in Jonesboro. I had a really good warm up jumping over 17 feet and then broke a pole on the first attempt of the meet. It was good to see some old friends like Rob Whitehead and Graham Danzinger. Everyone had a good time.

We had one more jump day on May 22nd at Bell’s to clear the cob webs before heading out to North Carolina for Grande’s wedding. Training went well all week and had a little vacation going out to Kitty Hawk to see the first flight and then out to Nag’s Head to the beach. Louis had a wonderful time at the beach and we all got to play in the waves. We then headed back to the Sarah and Jeremy’s wedding. It was a great time. We met some really cool people and had a blast. I was glad to be apart of it.

Once we were back, we had a really fun jump session on Thursday, May 31st. Kellen figured some things out that will allow him to jump high and I had a good day from short run. Then on Saturday, June 2nd, Chad and I had a good session. Chad made 15 foot from short run making 4 PR’s from that run. I had a long run day that got me back on track making 15, 16 and 17 foot. All in all, we are getting ready for a fun summer. I will keep you up to day as we go. Hope everyone jumps high this summer.
