Update

We jumped in the opening meet at ASU this weekend. It had been a while since the last meet and this is always a good meet to enter to knock the rust off. Just came from a short run, in fact the shortest run I had ever attempted in a meet. I got a little flustered in warmups but cleared it up and made some good vaults. We ended up jumping on the biggest pole I had ever jumped on from eight steps. It was a 15ft/ 17.0 flex holding 14.4. Had a good mid mark of 34.8 and jumped with very good technique. Although we didn't leave some better bars up it turned out pretty well. Now we are looking forward to jumping from 10 steps this week and allow a little more speed to the jumps.
